A few weeks ago I received an email from Joel and Victoria which had a great message I wanted to share:
“The very moment you first feel fear, you have to resist it and act against it. If you make the mistake of dwelling on your fears and start thinking about all the reasons why you can’t do what God is telling you to do, then it won’t be long before you develop a negative mindset that will keep you stuck right where you are.“
(the email continued on but I wanted to talk about this paragraph)
Even if you don’t believe in God, I believe that this is a great message to try and live by. I find it so easy to resist and act against whatever I’m doing if I feel fear. And I’m talking about when you want to approach someone at work for the first time and then you beginning to worry about a million and one reasons and before you know it you’ve completely talked yourself out of doing it. I know I need to become more confident and bold and to do that I’m going to try and move outside of my comfort zone, I’ll keep posting on how it goes!
